I am so excited to introduce you to my unique gift store and my variety of handcrafted gift selections. I love creating with enthusiasm and pride. My goals are to make available a gift inventory for you to purchase for friends and loved ones “Who Has Everything” - I bet they do not. You will be so excited as you browse my store and observe gift items that you have not even thought about, nor have your loved ones.
I ask what is more thrilling and exciting than to present a gift, watch them open it, and gasp in delight “where did you find this”? The anticipation of buying the perfect gift creates more satisfaction and pleasure than being a gift recipient. This is my Vision and challenge I have for Pretty Unique Buys. I aim to make available to all my customers' unique choices of well handmade gift selections at affordable prices. Together we will accomplish big surprises, smiles, hugs, maybe a tear at gift openings, even if I have to make it custom at your request, I will accept that challenge for you, my treasured customers. I will promise you handmade gifts created with love, quality materials and unique designs with my personal touch and attention to every detail
Meet the Maker
I am a member of the Cherokee Tribe, a blue card carrier, and so proud of my heritage. My shop has many Native American original gift items designed and created by me.
I have always found time in my busy life to learn new crafts, such as cake decorating, ceramics, and oil painting while raising two sons, a marriage for 58 years and working outside of my home.
My love of pets and my old poodle opened the doors to learning how to groom and opening my own dog grooming shop Carrols Clipper Castle for 20 years until I became drawn to the medical field. Since I love to work with people, it was perfect for me, but it required me to attend college. I earned my AA, AS, degree and certification in Radiology and became a Technologist at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton California at 55 years of age. The oldest in my class. This earned me “THE MOM” title. I loved my job and my patients.
My wonderful career ended suddenly after 7 years, with a hemorrhagic stroke while at work. It took a few years to heal. I slowly was able to begin drawing and was relaxing, and that became an important tool in my recovery. I wanted to share my art with others. I learned about Etsy and decided to try opening my store in spite of my very limited computer skills and slow memory response. The smallest sale would excite me so much, and I didn’t care about the money. Did I get rich? NOPE, but my life got richer, happier, and more fulfilled. My shop has grown to 258 items and many new friends. The many changes at Etsy have frustrated and confused me. I have decided to open my new Baroqoo and focus on unique and lovely handmade gifts. I am so excited to present “Pretty Unique Buys”. I can’t wait to welcome new and old customers. I hope all of you drop by often and look around. We will have a blast working on custom orders together for those hard to buy gifts for Friends and Family of yours. I love a challenge!
Our Shipping Policy is simple PrettyUniqueBuys "NEVER" charges more than the actual cost of shipping your item. If for some reason we discover you were overcharged for shipping an immediate refund will be submitted to you and you will be notified. We appreciate our customers and believe that shipping is NEVER to be another line item to profit. We do not play games with our pricing so we make you believe you are getting "FREE SHIPPING" we value your patronage to our store and value our integrity. Our Items are all HANDMADE BY US unless otherwise stated and we appreciate that you found our art and craftsmanship to be worthy of your purchase for yourself or a loved one and we value you immensely. Return & Exchanges
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and send your item to PrettyUniqueBuys, 16321 Amber Valley Dr, Whittier CA 90604-4003, United States.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
